It takes guts to be able to run joyously along with the flow of our human evolution …. Its also a whole lot easier than swimming against the current. And the current is A LOT stronger ,against us, through short sighted ness and greed, in some places ( I live in Scotland and we seem to be governed by almost complete near sightedness) compared to other more tranquil zones. And thats possibly how it’s been all along through our evolution . However, the brick wall is real. Maybe the brakes will react in time ? Who knows ? Am I a pessimist to not be putting my money on it?

I think none of us know what's going to happen. There are too many variables, and the ecological emergency is just that, an emergence that is at once both urgent and critical. We need to respond, as Dogen says (I know I've repeated this, but it bears repeating) as though we were putting out a fire on our heads! Just think of that image of where we are hot, inflamed, in pain, in serious agony (imagine if your head was on fire). We must respond in all circumstances as if all our traumas, all our painful parts, need immediate and urgent treatment. We need to wake up to our own pain, our own discomfort, and deal with it, all of it. But as kindly as possible! And in this way, yes, we flow with the current. We use the 'let them' theory (look it up if you can). Must go! Love! X
